At night, temperatures can drop to 0–5°C in winter. A warm sleeping bag is recommended, especially from November to February.

Is camping equipment provided?

Day 01 :

Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Tagdilt

Early departure from Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Continue toward the Valley of Roses and the volcanic landscapes of Jebel Saghro. Arrival in the village of Tagdilt. Dinner and overnight in a local guesthouse.

Day 02 :

Tagdilt – Tizi n’Iferd – Almou n’Ouarg Plateau

Meet the trekking team and load luggage on mules. Begin the hike across wide plateaus and dramatic rock formations. Climb gradually to Tizi n’Iferd Pass (approx. 2,400 m), then continue to the Almou n’Ouarg Plateau. Camp under the stars.

Day 03 :

Almou n’Ouarg – Kouaouck Summit – Igli

Ascend to the Kouaouck Summit (around 2,600 m), offering panoramic views of the Saghro massif. Descend through volcanic terrain toward the Igli area. Set up camp near nomadic settlements.

Day 04 :

Igli – Afourar Gorges – Ighazoun Oasis

Walk through impressive gorges and narrow canyons shaped by erosion. Pass small oases and palm groves with views of Bab n’Ali rock formations. Camp near the Ighazoun oasis.

Day 05 :

ghazoun – Tifdassine Pass – Handour

Climb to Tifdassine Pass, then descend toward the village of Handour through valleys and terraced fields. Final night of camping or overnight in a local house depending on availability.

Day 06 :

Handour – Agdez – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

End of the trek. Transfer by vehicle through the Draa Valley and Ouarzazate before returning to Marrakech in the evening.
